Who should apply for the Summit Scholarship?

Anyone interested in attending the Hire Minds Summit who is part of the hourly hiring industry and needs assistance in covering their cost of registration should apply for a scholarship.

When will the Summit Scholarship winner be announced?

Winners of the 2014 Summit Scholarship will be announced Wednesday, March 5, 2014.

Should I wait to register my attendance if I submitted a scholarship entry?

No, please go ahead and register your attendance at the summit and make your hotel and travel arrangements as those are not covered by the scholarship. If you are a winner of the scholarship, your registration fee will be refunded to the card you used to register.

When are applications for the Summit Scholarship accepted?

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis beginning November 1, 2013 until February 14, 2014. Summit Scholarship winners will be announced on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 on our website as well as an email sent to all applicants.

What does the scholarship application consist of?

The scholarship application consists of the attendee’s contact information as well as answering the question:
“What do you hope to get out of attending the 2014 Hire Minds Summit?”

**The applicant must answer the question in 500 words or less.

How many scholarships will be awarded?

Depending on quality of entries, there will be three to five scholarships awarded for the 2014 Hire Minds Summit.

What does the scholarship include?

The Summit Scholarship includes the registration fee of $350 for attending the Summit. The registration fee includes the Sunday and Monday night events, attendance to all conference speaker and breakout sessions, and meals at the Wyndham Virginia Crossings Resort.

The scholarship does not include your hotel room or transportation.
*Transportation to the Monday night event will be provided for all guests.
